Communal cremation arranged by the practice
A Basic Communal Cremation Service, arranged by the practice. Art 20(2) requires this option to be included.
Example price: £000.00
A sample cremation-options page and written price-and-contents sheet for the CMA veterinary Order, and a GBP 195 page pack that is being prepared.
This pack is being prepared. It is not on sale yet and no invoice or payment is taken. Replying only registers interest. Not legal advice. Parts depend on the RCVS complaints Decision Tree, due by 22 January 2027.
GBP 195 for the first site, GBP 45 for each further site, optional GBP 75 a year for updates. Invoiced to the practice. Prices are shown without VAT. If VAT applies, it will be shown on the invoice.
This page is a test of interest, not a shop. The button records one anonymous count for the day, and a short tag if the link you followed carried one. There is no payment form and no email field. To reply, write to hello@helmworks.ai; nothing on this page captures your address.
The Order's deadline for these duties is the next working day after 22 March 2027.
Covers: a sample cremation-options page (Art 20), a sample written price-and-contents sheet, what the full pack would contain and what it leaves out, and what else is on the market. Doesn't cover: legal advice, the price list, or the complaint log, which the CMA publishes free.
Independent page. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the CMA, the RCVS or any veterinary body.
The quotes below are copied exactly from the recorded readings. Article numbers are the Order's.

a Veterinary Business must ... publish the End-of-Life Care Options, which must include a Basic Communal Cremation Service ... on the Veterinary Business's website

When the time comes, you can choose one of the options below. The practice will explain each option and give you the price and contents in writing before you decide, unless you prefer not to receive that.
Where the practice does not set a price, for example separate arrangements with a crematorium, the practice marks the line and explains what applies.
All four options are set out at the same size and in the same style, as Art 20(4) requires.
Sample only. Every price and inclusion in this sheet is a placeholder.
| Option | Example price | What the example includes |
|---|---|---|
| Communal cremation arranged by the practice | £000.00 | The practice's basic communal cremation service. The practice lists exactly what is included. |
| Individual cremation arranged by the practice | £000.00 | Individual cremation, where the practice offers it. The practice lists exactly what is included. |
| Separate arrangements with a crematorium | £000.00 | The practice's help with separate arrangements. The crematorium's own charges are separate. |
| Taking the pet home for burial | £000.00 | The practice's help with taking the pet home. No cremation is included. |
| Add-on | Example price | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Casket | £000.00 | Priced separately from the cremation price. |
| Urn | £000.00 | Priced separately from the cremation price. |
Art 20(5)(a) and (b) put the price and contents in writing and require add-ons such as caskets or urns to be listed separately from the cremation price. The Order applies this unless the Pet Owner refuses.
The pack is being prepared. If built, it would contain:
It is written for independent UK practices and small groups with 14 or fewer sites, and priced per site.

Two tools were recorded in the quote check. Neither is rated here; check their pages yourself.
Pricebook.vet, on its free tool (as recorded):
The base Pricebook.vet tool is free forever
£0/month
Branches, ownership, RCVS number, terms of business.
Source: Pricebook.vet home page. Read 3 November 2026.
Pricebook.vet says its base tool is free forever and covers the price list and practice details. Its recorded pages do not mention cremation, complaints or the complaint log; that is the limit of what was checked.
VetComply, on planned pricing (as recorded):
Planned pricing from £29/month per practice — less than a single compliance consultant engagement.
Planned pricing — may change before launch.
VetComply, on early access (as recorded):
Join the waitlist for early access to VetComply
Source: VetComply home page. Read 3 November 2026.
VetComply plans GBP 29 a month per practice, which is about GBP 348 a year. It described itself as a waitlist for early access, and its page says the planned pricing may change. This pack's price is GBP 195 once for the first site, plus the optional GBP 75 a year for updates.
Every quoted line above is a line of this page's one data file, and a test fails the build when a quote that is served is not a line of that file. Another test fails the build if a banned word appears. The quotations are copied exactly from the records, with the read date of each source; no web source was re-fetched for this build. If a source changes or we find an error, we correct this page and record it here. Read 3 November 2026.
No corrections yet (sources read 3 November 2026).
Interest is read on 15 December 2026. A qualifying reply explicitly asks for the pack, a price confirmation or an invoice. Page presses are attention, not payment, and do not count as replies.
One reread on 15 February 2027 counts late replies to the original send only. There are no new sends.
Take-down: the page is removed on 15 December 2026 if the stop rule fails, and otherwise after the reread on 15 February 2027.
